It is a good idea to make friends with your library.  This is such a wonderful resource for new books for your baby.  You can share your love of books with your baby early on.  Get baby used to going to the library from birth.  You can take an outing every few weeks and browse all the books.  You can show your baby a variety of board books, story books and even participate in story time.  By the time your baby is walking, they will have a good idea of what goes on at the library.  This is a great way to stay interested in reading to your baby and share a love of books that lasts a lifetime.
