The Gift of Nothing - Book Review

I picked up the book The Gift of Nothing at the library the other day.  I am always on the lookout for great books to read to my children. This book definitely qualifies as a great book.  It is a simple story about a dog that wants to get a gift for his best friend who has everything.  He decides to get him nothing and goes in search of it.  There are some cute plays on the idea of what nothing is and how Mooch finally figures out what to give his best friend Earl.

This was an adorable book that I would like to read again and again to the children.  Isn't that what qualifies a book as being great?
