Little Bear

Many years ago when my girls were toddlers I discovered the show Little Bear on Nick Jr. They used to watch it often. I actually taped it off of TV and had hours of Little Bear episodes on tape. I love Little Bear. It is the sweetest show. Mother Bear and Father Bear are so calm and loving. Little Bear has a great imagination and participates in all kinds of imaginative play with his friends Duck, Hen, Owl, Cat and Emily. If you are looking for a sweet, calm show for your child you should check out Little Bear.

Little Bear has often been a great comfort to my children when they were sick. If they were ever up at night because of upset tummies or what not, I would put on Little Bear for them and they would be comforted.

The Little Bear books are easy readers that read exactly like the show. These were the first books my 2 year old read independently. I think Little Bear will always be a favorite of our family. I just ordered some Little Bear DVD's from the library to introduce to my newest munchkin. I hope she enjoys meeting Little Bear as much as the rest of us.
