Baby News?
When my little guy was just 18 months he could read hundreds of words and lots of sentences. I began working with him at the tender age of 2 1/2 months. Today he is 5 and he never remembers a time when he couldn't read. I remind him that I did teach him when he was a baby but it doesn't really register. I believe that is because we had so much fun! Teaching him to read was never a chore. It was a delightful game that we played often and the results of that game have been unbelievable.
I recall a night when he was sitting on the couch with me and my hubby while we were watching the news. He was all of 18 months old and after a moment or two he pointed towards the television and said "Fox". I looked down at him in awe and with great respect and told him he was right, we were watching Fox News. The word Fox was displayed in the corner of the screen while the news was playing. He saw it and then read it to me. I was a bit shocked because I hadn't asked him to read it.
So much for kids needing to see the words really huge to be able to read.

I do believe the bigger the words are, to a certain extent, the better. We never did follow the recommendations of Glenn Doman with the super huge letters. I made sure the words were bigger than normal print and through repeated exposure, he learned to read.

You are an amazing mother! Continue to inspire many mothers out there! Your little boy is gorgeous!!!
