Movie Review for The Princess Frog

My children headed to the movies over the weekend to see Disney's new The Princess Frog.  Since my niece invited them they decided to go.  I dropped my children off at the movies to meet up with my nieces.  Part of the reason they went was so my 2 year old and her two year old cousin could see a princess movie.  They seem to be princess smitten.  When I picked them up they said the movie was lousy, They said it was horrible. They said the little girls we bored within minutes of watching the movie.  They were extremely disappointed in the amount of evil that was in the movie.  They said The Princess Frog was filled with more evil than any other Disney movie.  They said there was a lot of focus given to voodoo.

I think it is such a shame that Disney masquerades as a company that cares about families.  I have not seen a Disney movie that didn't have some sort of evil plot in it.  Years ago I took my children to see Disney's version of The King and I.  I am very familiar with the movie and was angry as I left the theatre,  Disney, as usual, added all their evil garbage to a movie that had none in its original form.

To wrap up this review, my moviegoers felt that the story was lousy and the addition of all the black magic was unnecessary and unsettling.  The eight of them are unanimous and give it 8 thumbs down.  Too bad, we could use more great children's movies.
