5 Year Old Grammar Teacher
The other night I had my youngest two children ages five and two in bed. I headed off to bed and was getting all cozy when the two year old began to cry saying she was hurt. I got up and went to see what the trouble was. My two year old quickly explained, "Mommy, I was speaking proper English."
At that my five year old son replied, "Gaby, you were speaking improper English. Mommy, she said she was a people instead of a person."
And there you have it, the five year old was teaching the two year old how to speak properly. After hearing her statement, he began to cure her of her improper English by tickling her, whereby she got bumped in the mouth.
Kids are so much fun. They always make me smile.
