Book Review - The Tale of Peter Rabbit

I recently picked up a copy of Beatrix Potter's The Tale of Peter Rabbit. While this book is not new by any means, it is well written and timeless. This book tells the story of a rabbit that disobeyed his mother's instructions and ended up in a bit of a mess. It is a wonderful tool for instilling the character of obedience in our children.

My two year old was quite taken with this story. She wanted to hear it each night before bed. The book opened up dialog for discussions about how important it is for children to obey their parents. I also love the style and language Beatrix Potter uses in her books. If you have not yet read The Tale of Peter Rabbit to your children, you might want to consider it.
