Make Favorite Books into Reading Books For Baby

I recently met a mom who has turned a bunch of her regular books into reading books for her 2 year old. This is a really good idea, since most books are not designed to teach babies to read. It isn't that difficult to take one of your baby's favorite books and separate the text from the pictures. By doing this, we will have wonderful resources for our babies to read.

You can do this by getting cardstock and writing the words on one page in black marker or printing it out from your computer. Then you can make a color copy of the pictures and place that right behind the text pages. I am going to make a reading book for my daughter today. I will share some pictures of it on my blog as soon as I get it done.
