Book Review - Leonardo the Terrible Monster

Leonardo the Terrible Monster by Mo Willems is another new favorite in our house.  I love the stye of this book.  One part of the story reminds me of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.  I really enjoy reading this to my 3 year old.  She likes it a lot as well.  It is a simple little story about Leonardo, a monster who can't scare anyone.  When he finally gets determined to scare the tuna salad out of someone, it doesn't go quite as he planned.  The book has a sweet ending and will now be included in my list of favorite children's stories.

Here is a sample page from the book.  I have recently found some Mo Willems books that I really like.  I will be returning my library copy and looking to purchase this one.  The true measure of a good children's book is that you don't mind reading it over and over again.  This is one of those books.

I am extremely impressed with your writing skills and also with the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you customize it yourself? Either way keep up the nice quality writing, it's rare to see a nice blog like this one these days..
