3 year old writes a story

I decided to share a story that my 3 year old wrote the other day.  As far as I know it the first story she has dictated and we have written down.  It is definitely a keepsake for me.  I must state that we often have the older children find powerful, positive quotes to share with the family during our devotional times.  My 5 year old discovered the following quote about a year ago.  "Tomorrow is found in the calendar of fools."  It is common in our home to hear one of the little children quoting this when someone mentions tomorrow.  My 3 year old quite likes this quote and can often be heard repeating it.  Okay, here is her story.

Once upon a time there was a caterpillar and the caterpillar crawled up the leaf.  The caterpillar was small, blue and bright eyed.  The caterpillar was sad because he was lonely.  He ate a big, red, juicy apple and when he turned around he saw another caterpillar.

She was black and yellow.  She was sucking flowers.  They soon became best friends forever.  The End.
