Why Babies Can Read

Here is a quote from Twyla Tharp.  I think this quote perfectly sums up why babies can and do learn to read.

"Inexperience erases fear.  You do not know what is and is not possible and therefore everything is possible."
Twyla Tharp

Babies are the best students in the world.  They are born with an insatiable desire to learn.  They do not set limits for themselves and are extremely determined.  It is only after a few years of being corrupted by grownups that they no longer posses this wonderful quality.  If parents and caregivers would set no limits for what these little ones can really accomplish, we would all be amazed.
