Learning Alphabetical Order

I an working with my 4 year old to teach her alphabetical order.  We decided to build an alphabet train, which included the letters, a word for each letter, and a picture.  We have done this once before and she seems to enjoy it. The classic moment was the picture I took of her as she was singing the ABC song to figure out which letter came next.  I also like the picture of her studying what will come next. We could always time this to make it a race against the clock to see if she can improve her speed in placing the letters in the correct order.  So many possibilities for mixing this up some.

I purchased these cards at Walmart some time ago.  They have been great for learning new words and then matching them to the images.  Since Gabriella knows how to read all the words we are now practicing how to put the words in alphabetical order.
