Preschool Activities for The Runaway Bunny

This post may contain affiliate links.

I have another super cool literature based preschool activity to share.  The link for today is for the favorite classic  The Runaway Bunny. These activities were created by Jolanthe at HomeschoolCreations.  All you need to do is get a copy of The Runaway Bunny, if you don't already have one, and read it every day for 5 days.  Print out the activities for this book here, and enjoy.  Some of the things your preschooler will learn from these activities are as follows:

  • clapping syllables
  • sequencing 1st - 8th
  • labeling the bunny's anatomy
  • word find
  • numbers 1- 20
  • tracing words and patterns
  • writing the letter B
  • beginning letter sounds in words
  • matching words with images

What a great way to incorporate a love of reading into these beginning preschool skills.  If you want to know how to teach your preschooler to read books like The Runaway Bunny, visit  The MonkiSee Baby Reading Kit teaches kids from 3 months old - 4 years old how to read in a fun and entertaining way.
